Rev Keith Robinson’s Bio:
Keith came into ministry from a teaching career in music, working as a Librarian and working for Randwick City Council Information Technology.
He holds a B.A., Grad Dip Education, Pastoral Counselling Certificate and a Bachelor of Theology along with a number of Courses relevant to ministry practice; Mission Shaped Ministry, Transformative Pastoral Practice, Conflict Management and Peacemaking, Resource Ministry and Godly Play.
Keith came into the Uniting Church in the 1990s. He became a Lay Pastor working at St David’s Uniting Church assisting the Minister with pastoral care, Wesley Gardens, working for the ELM Centre and Crookwell Uniting Church from 2010 to 2016 supporting many community events and starting Messy Church. Keith felt called to Ordination and has been at the Centre for Ministry for the last year and a half.
Rev. Phil Swain says of Keith, “He has strong competency in all areas of ministry. He is a great all-round Minister who deeply cares for people.”
Keith has a pastoral heart, enjoys working in teams valuing a diversity of gifts, has a passion for exploring new possibilities and is committed to the mission of God and Jesus in the wider community.
Keith is married to Ros, who is an editor with ASIC. She mostly works over the Internet, and so will continue to work with ASIC in the Riverina. Ros recently completed her Lay Preacher studies, is trained in ‘Godly Play’ and was very active in the ‘Messy Church’ at Crookwell. She is looking forward to supporting Keith in his ministry and getting to know everyone.
