Rev Carolyn Thornley.
Carolyn has lived in New Zealand, Fiji and Australia. She was a teacher who ended her career focusing on ESL in Australian Inner City Schools.
Carolyn entered Uniting Church Ministry in 1994 following two years of part-time study and a questioning of her future career by the Catholic Sisters and Priest where she was teaching.
She has served in ministry with the Fiji Suva Circuit, North Sydney Congregations, Parramatta Nepean Presbytery, NSW Synod and Riverina Presbytery. Her passion is the intentional formation of faithful disciples, especially those in lay and ordained Ministry.
Carolyn enjoys reading, music, art, walking, swimming and being with people.

- Ordained Ministers.
- Those who are doing their Period of Discernment,
- Congregation Leaders and their spouses.
A reminder to all of these people especially the Lay people, that you are required to take part in continuing education.
This is a great opportunity to do some of this, to reflect and be open to the Word and Spirit’s leading.

Come along and join us at this years Riverina UC Presbytery Retreat. Kick back and be refreshed, enjoy the company of those attending and the pleasant surroundings of St Clement’s Retreat and Conference Centre.
There will be plenty of opportunity for reflection and time out.
If you play a musical instrument please bring it along.Participants will be free to engage with the process in ways that best suit their needs at the time.
