Rev. Paul Cosier’s Close of Ministry at Wagga Wagga

On Sunday 23rd December, a special service was held in Wagga Wagga “Wesley” Uniting Church to mark the closure of the ministry of Rev. Paul Cosier. Paul was appointed to Wagga in July of 2016. His preaching responsibilities were extensive, looking after both the city “Wesley” church and the new “Pilgrim” Church at South Wagga. Paul involved himself widely in the Wagga Community, including support for the extensive social programmes of the Wesley congregation. Paul was also a member of the Presbytery Standing Committee and remains a member of the Synod Standing Committee. At a farewell luncheon held in his honour, many speeches of thanks were made by members of the congregation. Paul’s ministry in Wagga finishes at the end of January 2019, following which he is responding to a Call from the Narrabri-Moree congregation in the New England-North West Presbytery.
